Per Diem Registered Nurse positions available in the emergency department. Current ER experience and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine with CPR  and ACLS certification.

HOUSEKEEPING

HOUSEKEEPING PORTER
Full-time Housekeeping Porter position available. Night shift, 7:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.; previous floor care experience required. Weekends required. Attention to detail and good communication skills required. 

INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

REGISTERED NURSE
Per Diem Registered Nurse positions available in the Intensive Care Unit. Current ICU experience and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine with CPR & ACLS certification.

MAINTENANCE

MAINTENANCE/HVAC  TECHNICIAN
Full-time Maintenance/HVAC Technician position available. Individual performs tasks of the maintenance technician in addition to leading the HVAC program of the hospital and allied facilities. Valid driver’s license, minimum 5 years experience in hospital maintenance preferred. May be required to be licensed in a trade such as plumbing, heating, air‑conditioning, refrigeration and/or boiler operation. Must have experience, knowledge and perform work in compliance with applicable regulations in the following areas: Plumbing, heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, and refrigeration. Requires knowledge in electrical/electronic controls and equipment.

NUTRITION SERVICES

FOOD SERVICES PERSONNEL
Full-time food service position available; 64 hours biweekly (11 am – 7 pm); every other weekend. Experience in food service required.  High school diploma or equivalency required.  This position will assist with food preparation and serving to both patients and customers at the Best Café. Good communication and customer service skills essential. Team player able to work independently with minimal supervision.

PATIENT ACCOUNTING 

CASH POSTING PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
Temporary Part time Cash Posting Patient Account Representative. Position available May 2012 to February 2013 Hours: Monday –Friday 8:30 to 2:30.  Responsibilities include the daily posting of cash receipts that relate to patient accounts for the hospital, two rural health centers and occupational health.  High school graduate or equivalent computer literacy, strong organizational skills and attention to detail is highly desirable. 

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

QUALITY ASSESSMENT AND PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATE
Full-time Outpatient Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Associate. This position works under the supervision of the Physician Practice Manager and will serves as a resource for all outpatient provider office QAPI activities and directs staff in the performance and completion of required QAPI activities.  This position collaborates with patients and families, office staff and physicians, and coworkers to improve performance and provide continuous safe, quality services in the practice setting.  Additional tasks may include data abstraction/entering to meet required internal and external QAPI requirements.  Individual must have medical office experience with quality improvement background preferred.  Must be self -motivated and highly productive. Able to lead a team effectively.  Excellent computer skills required. 64 hours bi-weekly. 

REHABILITATION SERVICES

PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Per diem Physical Therapist position available. Responsible for providing direct care to patients. Directs and guides activity as related to physical therapy. Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maine and CPR certification required.

WOMEN & INFANTS HEALTHCARE UNIT

REGISTERED NURSE
Full-time Registered Nurse position available in WIHCU. This position will be a day/night rotation. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine; BCLS certification and experience in labor and delivery, OB/GYN and nursery required.
