MEDICAL RECORDS CODER
Full-time Certified Medical Records Coder position available 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. Individual selected will provide accurate coding of all outpatient oncology, cardiac rehab and infusion therapy visits, as well as outpatient endoscopy procedures. Individual selected must possess an active coding credential; RHIT, CCS or CPC and a minimum of one year experience coding in a hospital setting.
Full-time Coder/Abstractor Clinic position available. Individual will provide skilled and accurate coding of all outpatient oncology, cardiac rehab and infusion therapy visits, as well as outpatient endoscopy procedures for statistic and billing purposes. Requirements include a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), certified coding specialist (CCS) or certified professional coder (CPC) with a minimum of one to two years experience in ICD 9 CM and CPT coding.
Part-time (48 hours biweekly) Registered Nurse position available on the night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) in WIHCU. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine; BCLS & Neonatal certification required; previous OB/GYN and Neonatal experience highly desired.

Per Diem Registered Nurse position available for House Supervisor. The Per Diem Relief House Supervisor ensures the smooth patient care delivery throughout the hospital by providing direction, support and consultation to staff in routine and emergency situations. Assures staffing levels are maintained in all clinical nursing areas, replacing sick calls and adjusting staffing as necessary to meet identified needs. Activate appropriate call personnel in response to needs during non-routine hours. This position demonstrates exceptional communication skills, clinical skills and judgment in working collaboratively with the Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, Administration, Support Services, Ancillary Services, patients, family and the public to provide safe, quality patient care. This position is available for all shifts including weekends.

Individual will be responsible for the preparation of foods for patients, guests, and employees; Increasing culinary offerings in the cafeteria; and assisting Head Cook in meal and catering preparations. High school diploma or equivalent required; Culinary Degree preferred; and Previous food service experience with knowledge of food ordering, food preparation and sanitation. ServSafe Certification or obtain.

This is an 80 hours biweekly position with a rotating (Day/Evening) schedule. The Access Trainer works with the MaineHealth Access Training Manager (Principal Trainer) to develop, implement and maintain the integrated Access training program. The Access Trainer provides comprehensive training and support for Emergency Department Registration, Admitting, Outpatient Registration, Authorization and Central Scheduling. The trainer must have the ability to work side by side with staff throughout the facility including at the Trauma Center. The scope of these programs will ensure 180 plus registration representatives, their coordinators, and supervisors; working three shifts at seven campuses are trained within the established time frames. The Access Trainer is actively involved in formulating and writing of policies and procedures, system configurations, evaluation and testing of new and updated software. The Access Trainer works with the MaineHealth Access Training Manager to develop the training manuals, tools, reference materials and for classroom and one-on-one training of end users, and for working with other departments to integrate both their training processes and materials. The Trainer is responsible for: Assessing related staff performance through initial and subsequent training, supporting the staff on Go-Live issues, providing additional training post-implementation and for maintaining all aspects of the training programs. Develops training materials, trains staff and assists in testing, upgrades and implementing both Epic and other registration systems. The work is complex, analytical and problem solving in nature and is performed with a high degree of independence. The work is performed under minimal supervision and is reviewed by the MaineHealth Access Training Manager in conjunction with registration leadership. Requires travel to other MaineHealth facilities and practices as needed. Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 3 to 5 years experience in healthcare, education, Information Services or computer software training and troubleshooting required. Must complete the six week credentialing program. Experience with elearning system design, development, administration and reporting is desired. Must always be positive and flexible even when presented with challenging staff and/or scenarios.Must be able to capture the audience while delivering training materials.

Working in collaboration with our Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist, the candidate will provide compassionate care and a wide variety of services in our Oncology & Infusion Therapy Clinic. Experience in Oncology highly desirable and Oncology Certification preferred.
