SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Full time, opening for a Speech Language Pathologist: Join a group of eight other SLPs doing lots of exciting and innovative therapy, with the only speech telepractice training program in the US accredited by the American Telemedicine Association. This position involves primarily working with preschool children and families. Therapy settings include both clinical with families and children and in high quality preschool settings. While primarily pediatric, this position can offer the interested applicant the option of developing skills with neurogenic disorders/dysphagia in acute and long-term care settings and the opportunity to learn about and participate in FEES and Modified Barium Swallow studies.CFs are encouraged to apply. NURSE EDUCATOR
Full time (72 hours biweekly) Clinical Nurse Educator position available. The clinical nurse educator is responsible to independently assess the ongoing educational needs of the nursing department while designing and developing educational programs. The individual must be highly self-directed, with proven organization and communication skills. This individual must have at least 5 years in acute care nursing with previous preceptor/teaching experience. Job responsibilities include orienting new staff, managing the nursing orientation program, maintaining an online database of staff competencies, participating in nursing council meetings, and collaborating with all nurse managers to meet the educational needs of individual departments. Individual must have knowledge of working with Excel including entering data and preparing reports. Registered Nurse with Bachelors Degree required; (BSN preferred). Minimum 2 years nursing experience; teaching experience preferred.
ACCOUNTANT
Temporary full-time (six months to one year) accounting position available for a highly motivated individual with strong work ethics. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a two year degree in Accounting or Business and work experience, be highly organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Accounting experience in the healthcare industry would be a plus. Oral and written communication skills are essential.

Part-time C.N.A. position available on the Med/Surg Unit, evening shift. 2:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m., 48 hours biweekly, every other weekend. State of Maine C.N.A. Registry required.

Full-time C.N.A./Unit Secretary position available in MSU. Night shift 10:15 p.m. – 6:45 a.m. 64 hours biweekly. State of Maine C.N.A. Registry, excellent organizational, computer and interpersonal skills required.
HOUSEKEEPING AIDE
Per diem Housekeeping position available. Individual selected will have the flexibility to work day and evening shift as needed. Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Per Diem Registered Nurse position available in the Intensive Care Unit. Current ICU experience and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine with CPR & ACLS certification required.
REGISTERED NURSE

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Per diem Medical Assistant position available in the physician practices. Individual must have knowledge of taking vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, height and weight. Strong telephone communication and organizational skills. REGISTERED NURSE
Full-time (72 hours biweekly) Registered Nurse position available on the night shift (7pm-7am) in WIHCU. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine; BCLS certification and experience in labor and delivery, OB/GYN and nursery required.
CARDIAC ULTRASONOGRAPHER
Full Time (80 hours biweekly) Cardiac Ultrasonographer position available. Position will be shared between two coastal hospitals. Must have of obtain RDCS/RCS. 3-5 years of experience. Vascular training desired but not required.
MID-LEVEL PROVIDER
Full-time Mid-Level Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) position available for individual to work as a hospitalist providing medical care to patients at Waldo County General Hospital. Physician Assistant requires certification by the NCCPA; Nurse Practitioner must be a Registered Nurse and have completed an advanced education program approved by the Maine State Board of Nursing. Mid-Level Provider requires registration with the Maine Board of Registration in Medicine and eligibility to obtain DEA. Experience in providing inpatient, outpatient and emergency medical care is preferred.
SECURITY OFFICER
Per Diem Security Officer position available. Flexibility to fill in as needed required. Must have clean drivers record. Responsible to perform a variety of Safety and Security related duties. Requires certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and IAHSS (International Association of Healthcare Security & Safety) within 1year of hire.
