Nia is a movement practice that leads to health, fitness, and wellness. Classes are taken barefoot to soul-stirring music, and people with all ranges of movement are invited to adapt movements to meet their needs. Nia draws from disciplines of the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts (such as yoga). Through Nia, you can increase your flexibility, strength, agility, and mobility. It is a transformative practice that you can take beyond class, into your daily life to be more present in your body and your life. Step into your own joyful journey with Nia, and positively shape the way you feel, look, think and live.

Meets Tuesdays (thru January 24) from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Belfast Dance Studio.
