The staff of the Women and Infants Health Care Unit at Waldo County General Hospital invites all expectant parents to participate in our childbirth preparation and breastfeeding classes, which are recommended by healthcare providers.
The classes:
• will cover a variety of topics as well as give the expectant mother an opportunity to ask questions to ensure the best possible childbirth experience;
• can be tailored to meet the individual needs of the expectant parents;
• are intended for women who are between six and eight months of pregnancy; and
• are offered as a free community service to all who plan to deliver their babies at Waldo County General Hospital.
