Waldo County General Hospital awarded scholarships totaling $20,000 to 15 students who plan to pursue further education in the healthcare field.

The recipients were:

• Waldo County General Hospital Scholarships: Sandra Menard, Michelle Wilbur, Stacey Keating, Terri Fuller, Natalie Bowden, Anne Milano, Kimberly Spectre, Starlyn Whitcomb, and Pamela Sprague;

• John C. Enk Memorial Scholarship: Amanda Gurney;

• Mary S. Enk Memorial Scholarship: Kimberly Spectre;

• Nancy Drinkwater Memorial Scholarship: Andrea Jarrett;

• Alice Pattershall Memorial Scholarship: Natalie Bowden;

• Imogene Mollison Memorial Scholarship: Autumn Corbin; and

• Gil Lord Memorial Scholarship: Casie James, Amanda Stover and Heidi Thomson.
