Herbed White Bean Hummus

2 cups canned low sodium white beans, drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons water

¼ cup chopped fresh basil

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

 

Blend the beans, lemon juice, sesame seeds, vinegar, mustard, and water in a food processor until smooth. Add the basil and cilantro and pulse very briefly.

 

Makes two servings. 272 calories per serving.
