We know having family and friends visit is important to you. For your rest and recovery we encourage no more than two visitors at a time. Children must always be under adult supervision and may be asked to leave if they become unruly or disruptive to patient care or if they are deemed infectious.
In concert with patient-centered care and in recognition of the patient’s right to visitations, Waldo County General Hospital welcomes visitors for all patients. Visitors are not restricted to immediate family in any patient care area. The plan for each patient’s visitation is a cooperative effort between the patient, his or her visitors, and the hospital staff.
Any visitor to the hospital after 9 p.m. and before 5 a.m. must enter through the main entrance and check with the Emergency Room staff. The Emergency Room staff will notify security who will accompany the visitors to the appropriate department.
